Terri Fulwood, President of Turning Point Business Solutions, began her career within corporate America, starting with AT&T in 1982. She worked her way up to management and acquired various skills such as training, desktop support, purchasing, project management, and financial reporting. She is a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB). She oversees the entire operations and provides a wide range of services, included but not limited to:
- Computerized bookkeeping in Quickbooks
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Financial statement preparation
- Reconciliations.
- General Ledger, financial, and cash flow analysis
- Preparation of payroll (monthly, quarterly, and yearly)
- Yearly tax returns
- Depreciation schedules
- Budget preparation
Terri attended the University of Phoenix in Jacksonville, FL and graduated with a Bachelor in Science in Business Management in 2000. Her employment tenure in the financial management field spans six years which includes maintaining the books for her first company, Supreme Advertising Specialties, Inc. While attending the University of Phoenix, she decided to start her own business in the area of promotional marketing in 1999 and acquired several large clients, such as Goodrich and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of FL. She also served as the first Secretary for the First Coast chapter of the Florida Minority Supplier Development Council (FMSDC). She is a volunteer with the State of FL Guardian Ad Litem Program and is certified to represent the best interests of abused, abandoned, and neglected children in judicial proceedings.
Terri also has project management and quality/mediation experience working with small, minority and women-owned businesses. She was the Sub Consultant to JAX Mock, Inc. in 2001 monitoring and reporting work performance and issues/resolutions between General Contractors and their minority Subcontractors for the Library Project of the Better Jacksonville Plan. The BJP/Library Project consisted of 19 libraries. |
